Initial Statement from Greater Manchester Police |
Greater Manchester Police done their best to keep the public aware of what was happening in Manchester, they later confirmed that there had been a number of fatalities but did not know how many.
The latest update from the police has confirmed that 22 people have died and more than 50 people have been injured. Those amongst the dead and injured were children who had attended the concert to see one of their favourite artist and now some have died and those who haven't their lives have changed forever.
This attack was sick and evil especially knowing that Ariana Grande's fans are young children, so to think that someone would want to target such young people is totally inconceivable.
Inside the Arena at the time of the explosion:
Ariana Grande has posted a message on her Twitter:
A number of people are still missing including Olivia Campbell, 15, who was at the concert with her Best friend, who has been found at a local hospital.
My prayers and condolences go out to the family and friends of the victims of this heinous act.
