Congratulations Stormzy!!!

It's never too late to celebrate the magic of black excellence.

Today I dedicate today's #TBT to Stormzy, who I sometimes refer to as "Mikey".

Stormzy killed it at this year's BRIT Awards. He took home two awards. British Male Solo Artist and, the biggest award of the night, Mastercard British Album Of The Year.

He won both of these awards by keeping it real and not diluting or conforming to what "THEY" wanted him to be.

Stormzy closed the show with a message to the British Prime Minister, Theresa May, (and the rest of the people that look down on the lesser fortunate) referencing the Grenfell Fire and the lack of finances and media attention.

"Theresa May, where's the money for Grenfell? What u thought we just forgot about Grenfell? You're criminals & you've got the cheek to call us savages, you should do some jail time, you should pay some damages, we should burn your house down & see if you can manage this"

Stormzy done what not one mainstream UK Artist has done. Take the platform the UK music industry has allowed him and used it to speak up for US!

He could of gone up on that stage and kept it pretty, kept it "safe", but no, he had a message to send and he was going to send it.

Stormzy also called out the Daily Mail newspaper, "Which you will see me do a lot in this blog", who are well known for trying to bring negativity upon the black culture.
