Promoters, Terry Reid, Orlando Gittens, Patrick Joseph and Henry Agwuegbo have taken Thames Luxury Charter Ltd (LTC) to court under the Equality Act.

TLC cancelled the each promoter's event after claiming to have encountered trouble when holding a soul event on one of their boats, the Dixie Queen.

The promoters have accused LTC of cancelling their events because they are black.

Due to the events being cancelled the promoters lost large amounts of money and aside from that, they also lost credibility.
Party-goers are expecting a party and have sometimes waited weeks to go out and rave, then just to be told, "The party has been cancelled."

These type of things can stop people from coming to a promoters event.

Many venues have been shut down or do not hold functions where Rap, Bashment and Grime is the main music being played and this is causing a big problem for promoters, just like the form 696 did, which was scrapped after being accused of racially targeting black events.

This seems exactly like what is happening here. A black event is once again being racially targeted.

Good luck to these promoters, I hope this encourages more people to step up and hold these venue owners accountable for their racist actions.
