How Real Are The UK Charts?

UK rap is very much evolving and definitely making an impact on the charts lately. After seeing Dave and Fredo go to number one with the song, 'Funky Friday' and then seeing South London rapper, DigDat's track, 'AirForce' the Remix version featuring Krept & Konan and K-Trap, peaking at number 20 on the charts, it's something to be proud of and proud Krept definitely was.

DigDat's Air Force Remix
Krept took to Instagram to upload a picture congratulating "the scene"on a Drill song being top 20 (in the charts).

This did not sit well with UK Rapper, Giggs. He left a very straight to the point comment under the picture which was quickly deleted - by Krept or someone in the camp - but not before it was screen grabbed and circulated on social media though.

Giggs calls out Krept & Konan

Giggs called out Krept & Konan, pointing out their "Goal Hanging ways" and called their glory hunting, "Pathetic".

Giggs isn't one to publicly out people unless it's something directly towards him, so I had to research and find out, "Wha gwan here?"

After doing some 'googling' I found out something very interesting and I can fully see why Giggs would be pissed and say what he did - "If this was the reason."

"Let me breakdown this down for you."

According to many blogs and even Krept & Konan, the remix of the song peaked at number 20 on the Official UK charts, but how?

The original version of the song was released on, 23rd August 2018, it entered the charts at number 93 on, 21st September 2018 and remained in the charts for 6 weeks before falling out of the Top 100 for two weeks. The song returns to the charts and stays at number 93 for two weeks then rises to number 87 on, 5th October 2018

'AirForce' rises 6 spaces to number 87

The original version stays in the charts for a further three weeks, before dropping out of the Top 100 on, 2nd November 2018. The song re-enters the charts on, 9th November 2018, and goes to number 98, it then drops out of the Top 100 for two weeks and returns to the charts, this time peaking at number 20. However its not the same song re-entering the charts, it's the remix version and not the original.

How does a new song re-enter the charts?

"Hmmmm?!?!?!"

As you can see in the images, the Official UK Charts show the remixed version featuring Krept & Konan as the one that has been climbing up the charts, but this is all wrong. The remix version wasn't even released until, 23rd November, 2018.

Krept & His Konan have nothing to do with DigDat's position on the charts. The original version was originally released on, 23rd August 2018 whilst the remix version was released on, 23rd November 2018. The Official UK Charts and K&K must think people are stupid.

Krept & Konan are known for taking people's
creativity as their own.
This is why Giggs was pissed, DigDat has been pushing this song since August and now Krept wants to give the impression that the track getting so high in the charts is down to their collaboration. The official UK Charts are taking the piss too by putting the numbers of the two songs together, this is obviously how the song got to number 20.

How does a song that was released on 23rd November 2018 be on the UK Official Charts for 8 weeks and it's only been out for 19 days?

"Which song is actually at number 20? Is it the remix or the original version?"

I can officially say that the Official UK Charts are FAKE and as for Krept and Konan...KMT!!!
