UPDATE: Manchester Attacker Known To Police.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Update 24/05/2017

Police have released the identity of the Manchester terror attack. Salman Abedi, 22, was born in Manchester but police have said he lived in a very tight-knit Libyan community.

"How do you live in a tight-knit Libyan community within the UK?" This is the question many people will ask.

Abedi, had recently travelled back from Libya which is where he seemed to have made his final decision to go through with this attack.

Libya was one of the six countries on Donald Trump's travel ban list so I can only imagine that this will reinforce Trump's request for this travel ban to be actioned.

What will this mean for the UK?

The terror threat has been increased as expected to critical but what happens after? This is the first time in a decade that the terror threat has been categorised as critical people are in fear and Muslim's are being targeted.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

A Mosque has been firebombed since the Manchester Attack and Muslim's have been verbally abused in the streets. I wish that people understood this isn't about hating each other, this is about coming together.

Following the attack at the Manchester Arena Piers Morgan has said that the Muslim people should be the ones to get rid of radicalised Muslim's, but then you have to ask, "What can Catholics do about paedophilia? What can Christians do about racism? What can Muslim's do about ISIS?"
Singer, Lily Allen was not happy and took to twitter to to tell Morgan that his comment only encourages hate.

Piers stood by what he said and replied to Lily the usual Piers way.

More information has been released following Monday night's bombing at the Manchester Arena.

Police have confirmed that the attacker was a man and that he had links to ISIS.

ISIS claim responsibility for the Manchester Attack.

Police know his identity due to obtaining the attacker's DNA but they are yet to reveal his name, where he was from or whether he was connected to any extremist group.

I'm always a little suspicious when suspects identities are known so quickly.

How did they know that, that person was the bomber? How do they have his DNA?

Only twelve hours after the attack the police have already made an arrest. What knowledge did the Police or Security Services have before?

I watch shows like Criminal Minds and CSI, and they never gather information so quickly unless the person is already in the system.

So why was this person not being watched? Because there isn't enough police resources to do this. There are hundreds and thousands of people who could be supporters of ISIS but how do tell?

A Twitter user posted this tweet onto their Twitter account less than four hours before the attack.

I am unsure if the police were made aware of these tweets before the attack happened but the users account has now been suspended.

Is this the guy that they suspect of being the attacker or was this guy just a small part of a larger group of extremist within the UK?

Terror threat is now at severe but likely to be increased.
